OUTSTANDING TINY DESK AI
Use Tiny Desk AI to replace the lead singer from one portrait in the Outstanding Tiny Desk trend. Create a 15-second, 720p vertical desk-concert video with sound.
Upload five photos to cast the five visible roles.
Upload 5 photos and recast the full group in one video.
WHY IT WORKS
Understand the setup, choose your lead singer, and know exactly what the finished video includes before you create.
THE FORMAT
The Outstanding Tiny Desk AI format pairs an intimate desk-side performance with an unexpected lead singer. Your upload supplies that identity while the configured reference supplies the framing, movement and musical energy. The result is a newly generated personalized performance—not a directory of official concerts.
CHOOSE YOUR CAST
Solo Cast uses one portrait to replace only the lead singer while keeping the backing performers and sax player from the reference video.
CAST THE STORY
The lead singer holds the center of the frame, so that slot carries the joke or celebration. Cast the birthday guest, the friend everyone is cheering for or the teammate who will enjoy the reveal. The backing performers and sax player remain from the reference video in Solo Cast.
WHAT YOU GET
Each successful creation produces one 720p, 9:16 MP4 with sound. Play it from your account, download it and share it to TikTok, Reels or a group chat. Packs are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions, and Credits charged for a failed paid generation are returned under the credit rules.
KEEP IT ORIGINAL
Tiny Desk AI is an independent creator and is not affiliated with NPR or any featured artist. Use photos of yourself or adults who agreed to appear. The generator creates a new performance from the configured motion reference; it does not give you access to an official recording or permission to impersonate someone else.
Use one clear, front-facing portrait with visible eyes and even light for the lead singer.
Avoid sunglasses, masks, heavy filters, dark photos, motion blur and group photos with tiny faces.
Put the birthday person or the group-chat loser on lead. The best Solo Cast result keeps that person recognizable alongside the original backing performers and sax player.
Create a 720p, 9:16 Tiny Desk AI video with sound (Solo: 15 seconds; Five: about 13.6 seconds) that you can play, download and share to TikTok, Reels or a group chat.
