OUTSTANDING TINY DESK AI
Choose Solo Cast with one portrait or Outstanding Five with five portraits. Create a 720p vertical desk-concert video with sound, about 15 seconds long.
Use one clear head-and-shoulders photo per role. Show one person only—no extra faces, hands or arms—and choose a simple background. Use everyday personal photos; official team headshots, celebrity and press photos are usually blocked.

WHY IT WORKS
Understand the setup, choose your lead singer, and know exactly what the finished video includes before you create.
THE FORMAT
The Outstanding Tiny Desk AI format pairs a desk-side performance with your chosen cast. Use one portrait for the lead singer or five portraits for the full group, while keeping the reference performance and concert setting.
CHOOSE YOUR CAST
Solo Cast replaces the lead singer from one portrait. Outstanding Five uses five separate portraits in order: lead singer, front seated backing performer, rear-left backing performer, rear-right backing performer and sax player.
CAST THE STORY
Put the birthday guest or the friend you are celebrating on lead. In Outstanding Five, assign four other people to the backing and sax roles. Each required slot needs its own clear portrait.
WHAT YOU GET
Each successful creation produces one 720p, 9:16 MP4 with sound. Play it from your account, download it and share it to TikTok, Reels or a group chat. Packs are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions, and a failed paid creation returns one video to your balance.
KEEP IT ORIGINAL
Tiny Desk AI is an independent creator and is not affiliated with NPR or any featured artist. Use photos of yourself or adults who agreed to appear. Review your AI-generated performance before sharing it.
Use one clear, front-facing portrait for Solo Cast or five separate portraits for Outstanding Five, with visible eyes and even light.
Avoid sunglasses, masks, heavy filters, dark photos, motion blur and group photos with tiny faces.
Put the birthday person or group-chat loser on lead, then keep Solo Cast focused on that person or assign four distinct friends to the remaining Outstanding Five roles.
Create a 720p, 9:16 Tiny Desk AI video with sound, about 15 seconds long, that you can play, download and share to TikTok, Reels or a group chat.
